If you are coming from out of state, you cannot drive past the house first. So here is the straight version of what you would see if you could.
Getting here
Orlando International Airport is on the south-east side of the city and Orlando Sanford International is to the north-east; the drive time from each home to Orlando International is on its home page. Driving down, the homes are reached from I-4, SR-408 and the 429. You will want a car; our neighborhoods are residential and the parks, hospitals and downtown are a drive, not a walk.
The neighborhoods, honestly
Our homes are in working-class residential neighborhoods on the west, northwest and downtown sides of Orlando: Pine Hills, Hiawassee, Washington Shores, Lockhart, Holden Heights and the Parramore edge of downtown. They are ordinary streets of single-family houses, not gated resort communities and not the tourist corridor. That is why a whole house here costs what a hotel room costs there. Each home page lists the plain parts under worth knowing before you book.
The homes
Renovated and furnished, two to six bedrooms, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi and parking at the house. The closest home to Altamonte Springs is WinterPark Home in Lockhart.
A week, a month or a season
A week books by the night on the booking page. A month or a season, whether for a contract, a relocation or a winter away from the snow, is priced by the month on a written agreement; seasonal stays and monthly rentals explain how. Questions before you commit are welcome: the phone number on every page rings the owner.
